Pushies, while not a full out production game, is quite a fun diversion. It has a simple yet appealing graphical style that, that allows the game play, the heart of this little game, speak for itself.
You start as a square on the left side of the screen, with enemy squares coming from the right side of the screen traveling horizontally to try and knock you off the screen. The concept is straight forward and quite well executed. If you meet an enemy square head on you can have a stale mate with it, but if other squares start pushing with it the ‘weight’ of those squares overwhelms you if you do not dodge quickly.
Pros:
Simple, worth replaying to attempt to get a higher score, a nice diversion and a simple, clear, well executed mechanic.
Cons:
Should have a level system, the longer you last the faster the squares, more they weigh etc.
Conclusion:
Very worth the play, enjoy.

At the beginning of the game there isn’t any menu or instructions so it may be hard for some players to figure out how to build the bridge but instead it greets you with a nice blue on black screen in which to build your bridge. The game has a very nice style of art however the grey scale background looked out of place. The only sound in the game was the creaking of the bridge which at first is really nice but after awhile is just annoying, the game should have had some music and of course a mute button as well. The game was presented nicely but should have had some sort of menu system as well as better instructions for deleting lines and knowing which points were “anchors”(if you put of wood attached to it it would stay) and which were not.
Gameplay: 6/10
It has a very interesting way of building the bridges and is very fun however once you complete the bridge your left thinking to yourself “that’s it?”. It’s a very well built game with extremely well done physics however it didn’t seem like a full game which really took away from the whole experience.
Something else that isn’t going for the game is that it has little to no replayablity, once you build a working bridge theres really no other reason to play the game (it would have been nice to have a sandbox mode of some kind were you have unlimited money).
Originality: 10/10
Bridge thing is an extremely original game and I’ve never seen anything like it before but this seemed more like a proof of concept or prototype more than a complete game. There are plenty of opportunities for it such has different materials, multiple levels, different characters walking on the bridge (each with different weight or other unique features) or even trying to build a working bridge with very little money.
Overall: 7.5/10
Overall bridge thing is definitely worth playing until you’ve built a working bridge and has quite a lot of potential for future versions.

The art and menus for Killer Whale are astounding and go really well together, however; occasionally when you hit a wall the screen becomes very jumpy which can be extremely annoying. There is a nice simple jaws like audio loop playing in the background and the only problem that I had with that was every time it looped there was a quiet, but very distinct popping sound.
Game play: 6/10
Although it’s a very good game I found the controls awkward at times and the whale felt as if it sped up way to fast. Occasionally, because of the gravity and buoyancy, getting into the exit was harder than it should have been (as well I think it should have been left click to enter instead of the space bar). The whale bounces very far off the wall, which is obviously not a good thing unless you are trying to find out some glitch to go through the walls.
Originality: 9/10
Killer Whale is an original game and the only similar game I can think of is Dolphin Olympics 2, but it is actually very different and has quite a few unique ideas, although a few more would have been welcome. For example eating a certain kind of fish gives you rage automatically instead of having to destroy things.
Overall: 8/10
Overall Killer Whale is a very nice game, however; there were quite a few bugs that I think really lowered the fun of the game because they took away from the overall experience of the game. Otherwise it’s a fantastic game and definitely worth playing.

Although its not the best game, I can see Skylocopter 2 being a great and fun game.
Presentation: 7/10
Skylocopter is very well presented and has a calming and relaxing feel to it. The artwork is very well done however the pot of gold and bombs seem out of place. The menu screens are simple but effective and there’s a very nice song playing in the background that really goes well with the game and doesn’t overpower the sound effects (although there could have been more sound effects). One problem I had with it was after getting the economy upgrade even though I did get more money per gem after I collected them it still said $10 when it should have said $20.Somthing similar happens when you kill an enemy, although you get money for it no $20 shows up. When you die your taken to a nice game over screen however it seems sort of redundant, the only option on it is to try again but it would make more sense to also have a button back to the main menu (once you hit play the only way to return to the menu is by refreshing the page).
Gameplay: 7/10
Nice gameplay but it was to short, there were some nice ideas but most of them were only in one or two of the levels (water, another type of key and the red flying bombs come to mind).Something that bothered me quite a bit was that the amount of health you lost for hitting a wall seemed random some times it would be 3 then it would be 1 the next. I liked how if you hit a bomb you go flying in the opposite direction.
Originality: 7/10
Skylocopter is really just another avoid the walls game but it has some things that a lot of others are missing. The shop for example is a really nice feature (but it should have had more things). It also has fairly nice physics and a very unique feel to it.
Overall: 7/10
Overall Skylocopter is a really nice game and is worth playing through despite a couple of little things that could have been easily fixed.
